NEW VEHICLES WILL HELP COMPANY REACH THOSE IN NEED
A Devon-based firm that provides support for those with disabilities and complex needs will be able to reach more people thanks to its two new Mitsubishi Mirages from Devonshire Motors.
Larkstone Supported Living has just collected the matching pair of vehicles from the award-winning dealership in Barnstaple.
A delighted Natasha Hayler, Manager at Larkstone Supported Living, explained why the vehicles are so important.
‘The two new Mirages will be based at Ilfracombe and Bideford and they will be used by our outreach workers to support people in the community,’ she said.
‘We work with people with complex needs all over north Devon but not all of our support staff have their own vehicles, so the two new Mirages will enable them to go out into the community and visit people using our resources.’
With the Mirages each expected to cover 400 miles a month it was important to Larkstone Supported Living to find vehicles that were comfortable to drive and economical to run.
Natasha said: ‘The cars needed to be financially viable and the Mirages are economical to run, which is good because they will be doing lots of short journeys each day.’
The firm has previously used Devonshire Motors, which was named Mitsubishi dealer of the year at the company's annual conference in March, for its vehicles and Natasha added: ‘We have certainly got good value from them and they have been very good to us.’
Sales Controller Peter Starbuck said: ‘We have had a relationship with Larkstone Supported Living for some time and we were delighted to be able to provide their latest
vehicles. The Mirages are exactly what they need – they are great for driving round town and will save the company money on fuel bills.’
The clever and compact supermini is roomy enough for five adults. It’s exceptionally economical and kind to the planet too, with CO2 emission levels across the whole line-up lower than 100g/km.
The Mirage has been designed and engineered from the wheels up to offer a winning blend of chic styling, exceptional comfort and low running costs. It boasts fuel economy across the range of between 65.7 and 68.9mpg (combined).
Safety has of course been a key concern and Mirage uses Mitsubishi’s RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body design. And buyers can be assured that all cars will benefit from Mitsubishi’s legendary build quality and attention to detail.
